Proctors in Schenectady NY was the spot to be Thursday night while Air Supply was in town. Seeing them again was another great show for the record books. These guys are touring and celebrating “50 years” this year. Many bands don’t make it that long.

Fans of all ages in attendance singing along and dancing where they could. Proctors being a theatre doesn’t have a dance floor style area. But people make due of what works best. 50 years of love ballads being played around the world, whether it be live on a cassette tape or vinyl record.

Air Supply delivered an unforgettable night in Upstate NY this past week. Timeless hits like “Making Love Out of Nothing at All” and “All Out of Love” filled the venue with sweeping harmonies, while their chemistry and polished musicianship kept the crowd captivated from start to finish. The band balanced lush orchestral moments with tight, intimate acoustic sections, giving fans both the soaring sing-alongs and quiet, heartfelt interludes they came for. Production was clean and tasteful, highlighting Russell Hitchcock’s soaring vocals and Graham Russell’s warm guitar work without overpowering the room. Longtime fans and new listeners alike left smiling — a true testament to a catalog that still resonates and a performance that felt both nostalgic and vividly alive.
