Diamond Rio Brings a Night of '90s Country to Turning Stone Casino

The Review

Some bands don't just play country music—they are part of the history of country music. On Saturday night, the Event Center at Turning Stone Casino was filled with the sounds of the '90s as Diamond Rio took the stage for a night that reminded everyone why this band has remained a favorite for more than 35 years.

From the moment the music started, it was clear this was going to be a special night for country music fans. Diamond Rio brought the songs, the energy, the musicianship, and the personality that have helped make them one of the most respected groups in country music.

For more than three decades, these guys have been bringing some of the best country music ever heard to fans across the country, and Saturday night was no different. Their long list of hits had the crowd singing along, while their incredible musicianship showed exactly why Diamond Rio has stood the test of time.

One of the things that stood out throughout the night was just how much the band enjoys performing for their fans. The guys talked about how much they enjoy coming to Upstate New York. While the weather in Upstate NY is definitely starting to cool down as fall settles in, inside the Event Center it was anything but cold.

The crowd brought plenty of warmth and energy, singing along and enjoying a trip back to the '90s—a time when country music was producing some unforgettable songs and some truly legendary artists.

Diamond Rio has been doing this for over 35 years, and that experience showed throughout the night. There was a confidence and comfort on stage that only comes from decades of performing together. Yet the band still brought the same excitement and passion that fans have come to expect.

For me, nights like this are exactly why I love doing what I do with I Rock Shots. Being able to stand in front of the stage, capture the energy, the musicians, and those moments that happen only once during a live performance is something I never take for granted.

Saturday night at Turning Stone was a celebration of '90s country, and Diamond Rio proved that after more than 35 years, the music is still just as strong, the memories are still as good, and the band still knows how to put on one heck of a show.

Another great night of country music in Upstate New York—and another show captured through the lens of I Rock Shots.
