Classic rock band that has been in and out of bars putting on shows for over 30 years. They’re back to put on more shows and make people of CNY rock their asses off. The show was dedicated to family and friends that have passed. With the pandemic putting the world on hold it also was no favor in helping bands play out. Andrea’s brother Moose Dubonnet who also played in bands over the years was taken by covid. Ted Lince, Tim’s brother another staple in CNY music has passed. A band with broken hearts just brings them closer as family & band family. Being off for 3 years or so Andrea says “i’m rusty” the band and equipment is rusty none of it has been worked. But the people there to see them felt like the band was just as good as before they were on break. Back in the day these guys have even opened shows for the late Benny Mardones, also Willie Nelson. Andrea and her husband John Battle the drummer also neighbors of my moms before she passed. And not just neighbors but great friends over the years. Did what they could while my mom was sick with cancer. So Dubonnet has done a ton of shows in CNY and are back to do it all over again. Stay tuned and find/follow them on social media for updated dates of events. It might be 2023 but classic rock music from the 80’s/90’s is still alive as it has always been. (Written by: R.
