New to the country scene, Leo Brooks and Andrew Millsaps. Neon Union is a duo preparing to take country music to new levels. Out on their own the two of them we’re making a go of a music career. When Andrew ran into Jimmie Allen in and elevator and before ya know it one thing led to another. Andrew was joining up with Leo to form the name Neon Union. Leo Brooks previously played bass guitar for Pitbull. Award Winning collaborator. Worked with many other artists including Lauryn Hill, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Cee Lo Green, and John Legend.
Andrew began playing guitar as a teenager around campfires and dinners. Began as time went on playing in local clubs and even won the Merlefest for song writing. These two gentlemen passed through Central NY on a radio tour and i had a chance to take a few photos of them. They also told the people there to see them that they even had a chance to already perform on the grandest stage of them all “Grand Ole Oprey” Opening for them was Bill Ali a local here in CNY who has also opened for many national act bands over the years.
