Aaron Austin opened up the 5th annual Fingerlakes Music Festival in Palmyra NY. What a day of music it was for any of the fans that showed up. May have been a bit chilly once the sun went down but as well worth it. Seeing all the talented musicians and a day of country music is always a good time. Aaron Austin a local got the crowd warmed up with some cover music and his solo acoustic set.

The talented Logan Layman and her band up next to get the crowd ready and fired up for Avery Anna. And she wowed the crowd with her talent of playing her bass and doing a mix of her originals and covers and a couple of rock tunes. Living in Nashville and playing whenever and wherever she can on the popular strip. Doing gig work she says full time and hoping to make it. She seems positive and has the confidence to do just that. Everyone starts out at the bottom and you rise from there, and she’s just that good that it’s only a matter of time.

Avery Anna welcomed to the area again as she was the night before as well. She’s multi talented and the new ACM Award winner and full of fun with her stage performance. Singer whose sound blends classic storytelling with modern production, delivering heartland honesty and vocal warmth. Growing up with a family that evolved around music Avery was easily shaped. Having roots of music was all she needed and was blessed with talent. She’s going to the top so don’t blink because she will be there before you know it. She’s also a strong believer of God and follows her faith. On stage she’s direct and personable. Her shows mix polished musicianship with moments that land like conversations—between songs she tells short stories about their origins, which makes the audience feel part of the music’s world. That approach has helped her build a loyal regional following and secure spots at county fairs, listening rooms, and regional festivals.

Lee Brice didn’t even seem bothered by the chilly New York temps. He put on an amazing show, keeping the crowd singing along to every song and fully enjoying the night. Energy was high, vocals were spot-on, and his stage presence made the cold disappear. From the first chord to the encore, the audience stayed locked in — a night of country music done right. My first time seeing Brice live and he didn’t disappoint and put on a hell of a show. Songwriting and collaborations Before solo stardom, Brice co-wrote songs for artists such as Garth Brooks, Randy Houser, and Billy Currington. He continues to collaborate with country writers and producers, contributing both as a performer and as a songwriter for others. One of his best friends in country music is Scotty McCreery. Scotty pointed that out at a recent show that i covered.Style and themes Lee Brice’s music often blends traditional country storytelling with contemporary production. Recurring themes include love and relationships, personal struggle and redemption..
