April 18th, 2026 Kegs Canalside in Jordan, New York was home to George Birge on his third stop in Upstate New York with his Cowboy Songs Tour. After months of the cold harsh winter in Upstate it was a pleasant sight to see everyone back to tailgating in the parking lot. The night kicked off with Skip Clark one of the voices of 92.1 the Wolf welcoming everyone to Kegs and getting them amped up for the show.

The opening band was Highway Home. A Nashville based trio with a distinct 90s inspired sound. Unfortunately due to some family issues it was just a duo Saturday night, but that didn’t stop Highway Home from gaining some new fans. Whether it was originals or covers they had high energy and powerful delivery. Their set consisted of their popular songs like Missin’ You Goes, Ring On Red, and Trash Out The Trailer. Well also sprinkling in some beloved covers in Rascal Flatts Fast Cars And Freedom, Vince Gill One More Last Chance and Lonestar Front Porch Looking In.

Then it was time for the man of the night George Birge. He is an emerging star in the country scene. This was his third stop in New York, all back to back nights from Buffalo and Binghamton. He didn’t skip a beat coming out to the song that put him on the map with Mind On You. During his set he did a singalong including Kenny Chesney Beer In Mexico, Taylor Swift You Belong With Me, Joe Diffie Pickup Man, George Strait Fireman, Tim McGraw Live Like You Were Dying and Toby Keith Courtesy Of the Red White and Blue. In between songs he took the time to interact with the crowd, reading their signs even taking a selfie with a fan. He surprised the crowd with an unreleased song coming soon called You Ain’t. George played some more originals including Made you,Made Me and his current song with Luke Bryan Ride,Ride,Ride. He capped the night off with Cowboy Songs. If you aren’t familiar with George Birge yet I highly recommend giving him a listen he’s definitely on the rise to becoming a massive star. Overall the night was high energy turning a small town venue into a honky tonk. Kegs has more shows coming up if you’re looking for a fun time full of country music and friends check for their upcoming shows, and if you want to see George Birge he’s going on tour with Darius Rucker this summer making a stop at CMAC. A couple of fans that showed up in Jordan NY even drove 5 hours from Canada to see George Live.
