The Paradox- Middle Ages

On January 17th 2026 Middle Ages was home to a new age Pop Punk night. Scott Dixon and the whole crew at 95X did a fantastic job bringing 4 bands to upstate New York that had the crowd engaged all night. The bills playoff game had the crowd huddled around cheering on their team before the show started unfortunately they were unable to win a nail biting overtime game. The music kicked off with Bike Routes. Bike Routes is a rising band in the indie rock scene coming from New Jersey. They played some new music that hasn’t been released yet. With a mid 2000s nostalgic feel they definitely started the night right. After they were done they spent the night over at the merch table interacting with fans. The next Band was Out in Front. LA based Alternative group quickly making a name for themselves. Lead singer Madie Renner interacted with the crowd in between songs asking about the dating scene in Syracuse before going into their next song. And they had the whole crowd singing along to their cover of Fall out Boys We’re Going Down. Edge hill is an alternative rock band based out of Nashville. They have gained a ton of momentum and fame on social media and didn’t disappoint.

Lastly was The Paradox. An Atlanta based group endorsed by rock icons such as Jack White and blink 182s Travis Barker. They were a very energetic group and have definitely have stage presence that was unmatched. Lead singer Eric Dangerfield interacted with the crowd and was cracking jokes. especially when he noticed the broncos jersey in the front row in a bills environment. They played their smash hits such as Bender featuring Travis Barker and ended the night with Do me Like That. The Paradox is just getting started in the music scene and is definitely going places and going fast. Overall a great show full of rising stars in the rock scene.
