Lakeview
It was a bad day to be a beer Friday August 8th on the Wreck My Night tour. It was supposed to be a rainy Friday night in Chittenango, New York, as Lakeview was set to take the stage at The Haven. The weather would end up holding off for a night of fun with just a few small sprinkles throughout the night. Time and time again I have praised the venue, and again it’s absolutely phenomenal. I recommend checking it out. Lakeview themselves posted all over socials, hanging with the different animals, and for a few lucky fans, hanging out with the giraffes.
Luke Healy of Lakeview was down there during the openers. Overserved Again is an emerging band from New England. The band was formed by four students from Bryant University and later would expand to six members. The night was all leading up to the guys of the hour. Luke Healy and Jesse Denaro, the duo of Lakeview, took the stage shortly after 9 pm and rocked the house. Lakeview, a country rock duo from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is on a rocket to the top of the country and rock charts. The band pays tribute to the Pittsburgh way of life with their motto of blue collar country. Lakeview put on a high-energy performance that had the crowd jumping from the start. Playing all their hit songs from Wrong Side Of The Track, Money Where Your Mouth Is, See Me In A Suit, and Neon Nightmare. They would take a minute to thank everyone for coming out and explain how they are independent artists and nothing is possible without the support of the fans.
With the fans support, they have finally broken through the charts, reaching number 21 on this week’s Sirius XM The Highway’s Hot 30 countdown with the smash hit Wreck My Night. This is a song to get a larger group of the population to learn about the extremely talented duo. Diehard fans have known the potential of the duo, and it’s great to see a larger amount of people seeing it too now. A fan would go up on stage and shotgun with the boys during Drink With My Friends before each member of the band would get a moment to shine with a solo. Just when everyone thought the night was starting to wrap up, the energy was brought right back with the new song Kill Me First featuring the Ghost Inside.
This song is also seeing airtime on rock Sirius XM stations. Bad Day To Be A Beer, Son Of A, and fan favorite Home Team would close the night out. Lakeview is a high energy performance that interacts with the crowd. If you are unfamiliar with them and are a fan of country rock, I highly recommend them. If you’re looking for a chance to see the band, they have another show coming up in the area on September 25th at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo. You will definitely find me there! Another moment to give the haven their flowers. Absolutely gorgeous venue. It has the feel of a more intimate show compared to these big venues like the amphitheater with lots of things to do, from feeding giraffes to a mechanical bull in the back by the bar. You could make it an all-day event by stopping over at the Wild before going to your show as well. There’s many shows this weekend over at The Haven with Lakeview just being the first. Friday August 7th is Montgomery Gentry and Saturday August 8th is The Marshall Tucker Band.
