Tigirlily Gold opened for Scotty McCreery at the Proctors Theatre Downtown Schenectady, NY. What a great show from start to finish. The venue is outstanding, such a beatiful place. It makes you feel like your entering a strip mall but inside. A long hall welcomes you and it filled with drinks,food,things to look at and a lounge area as well. Tigirlily Gold an award winning duo that loves to come to Upstate NY to put on a show. They’re opening a handful of shows for Scotty and just love the oportunity. Met quite a few fans out in the hall for photos and autographs.

Sisters Kendra and Krista sure know how to put on a show and entertain a crowd whether it be opening for a headliner or a show of their own. Modern country production, and anthemic songwriting, they blend traditional country themes with pop-friendly hooks. They also let the crowd do a fan vote to have a choice of a song they want to hear. Notable songs: “Shoot Tequila,” “I’ll Be Your Whiskey,” and “Sugar Cane” Blends traditional country storytelling with modern pop production and a strong emphasis on vocal interplay and stage presence. They often wear bold, retro-inspired styling that complements their upbeat, danceable arrangements as well as their slower ballads. The sister have high-energy setlists with moments crafted for crowd interaction. Much of their music falls into the groove of break up and relationship issues.Which even had the crowd laughing.

Scotty McCreery has been going strong since his debut on American Idol and winning season 10 in 2011. Have had the chance to cover one of his show for the second time and he certainly don’t disappoint. One song right after the other and gives it his all to put on the best show possible.
